Citizen TV, a broadcasting station under Royal Media Services ownership, has made its decision regarding the replacements for Willis Raburu on the show “10 over 10.” The chosen individuals are Aziza Hashim, also known as Azeezah, and Gudah Man.
According to a reliable source who spoke to Dennis Milimo of Kiss FM, Azeezah, who recently departed from NTV, is set to join Citizen TV as Willis Raburu’s successor on the “10 over 10” program. The source revealed, “It is indeed true that Azeezah has been selected as the new host for ’10 over 10,’ replacing Willis Raburu. An official unveiling will take place soon.”
Azeezah, who bid farewell to her role on NTV’s “Teen Republik” on August 12, 2023, expressed her gratitude to her viewers and supporters. She mentioned that her departure from NTV after a two-year stint was accompanied by the promise of a forthcoming venture on television that would be even more significant.
Reflecting on her time at NTV, Azeezah conveyed her appreciation for the opportunities and trust extended to her by NTV Management. She acknowledged the growth she experienced during her tenure and thanked her bosses for entrusting her with responsibilities beyond her years.
In regard to her future plans, Azeezah hinted at taking a temporary hiatus from television, implying that her upcoming endeavors would be grander and more impactful. She concluded her farewell message by expressing optimism for the journey ahead.
Aziza Hashim, who joined NTV in November 2021 alongside Joseph Maina, took over as a host for “Teen Republik,” succeeding Tracy Wanjiru and Martin Kimathi.
Meanwhile, Willis Raburu, who spent 13 years at Citizen TV, has transitioned to a new role working for Governor Sakaja after leaving the broadcasting station.
