Born in 1982, Lilian Muli, now 41, emerged as a beloved figure among fans who admire her for her captivating on-air presence. She is the second child of her parents, Henry Muli and Peninah Muli. Presently, very little is known about her mother, who resides in Bangkok, while her father, a prominent lawyer, sadly passed away some time ago.
Her educational journey led her from primary school to Loreto Convent Msongari secondary school, followed by enrollment at Daystar University, where she pursued her studies in Communication and News Casting. Subsequently, she furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Strategic Management at the University of Nairobi.
After her graduation from Daystar University, Lilian embarked on her career journey by joining the KTN Creation Division, a subsidiary of the Standard Media Group, in 2005. Her tenure at KTN spanned six years before she made a significant move in 2011 by joining Royal Media Services, where she continues to work to this day. Throughout her time at Royal Media Services, Lilian Muli has ascended to become one of Kenya’s most celebrated news anchors, captivating audiences with her professionalism and charisma.
On a personal note, Lilian is a devoted single mother, raising two children. She was previously married to Moses Njuguna Kanene, and their love story culminated in a vibrant wedding ceremony at Windsor Golf Club. Their journey, however, took a different turn when they divorced amid allegations of adultery, cruelty, and desertion.
In subsequent years, Lilian became engaged to Nevaton, only to later discover that he was married and involved with other women simultaneously. These revelations were deeply painful, prompting her to publicly refer to Nevaton as a “community husband.” After some time, the couple attempted to mend their relationship, but unfortunately, it did not endure.
