Kigumo-Murang’a County residents are calling on the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officers to help them track and neutralize a pack of hyenas that has caused havoc in the area.
According to reports, the hyenas first stormed the area on Thursday 13 May and started attacking residents and in the process killed over 20 goats and sheep.
“They came in the evening of Thursday and started attacking us. The wild animals also killed 20 goats and sheep. In fact, in this second incident, one of my neighbor is currently healing serious injuries after the attack,” Martin Njogu, a resident, said.
