City Politician and lawyer, Karen Nyamu has fired warning shots at Nation Media group’s, Nairobi News over a story they ran claiming that Ms Nyamu was romantically involved with former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko.
Karen commenting on the story called out the team telling them to get facts right instead of chasing clout with her name.

She said.
Previously in an interview with Jeff Kuria, Ms Nyamu revealed how social media maffias had hurt her with reports linking her to prominent leaders in the country among them deceased businessman, Jacob Juma.
She said;
I knew Juma but we did not have any romantic relationship,” narrated Nyamu.“I read comments about dating Sonko, it was stupid,
His (Sonko’s) wife is my friend. They even linked my sister to dating Sonko and the wife even called me about that. I told her that was not true. I know the family from way back in Buruu (Buruburu estate) when he had matatus.
I still talk to him and I visit his offices. While he was in the hospital, I also visited him.
