A juvenile is currently at large after stabbing her 18-years-old brother to death with a kitchen knife in Kibicho village.
The DCI have launched a manhunt food the girl with detectives at the Githunguri Station taking up the case after the uncle, John Wangendo filed a report at Kibichoi police station.
It is reported that the girl killed her brother, Anthony Nga’ng’a after a disagreement on how to share the Ksh 200 that their mother had left for lunch.
“The uncle recounted to our officers how a bitter confrontation ensued between the two after the 15-year-old girl demanded to be given the money to make her hair, instead of buying food,” the report read.
“But when her elder brother would hear non of it, she picked a kitchen knife and stabbed him leaving him unconscious in a pool of blood. She then fled the scene leaving the murder weapon behind.”
Anthony was rushed to Kigumo Level Four Hospital by his uncle where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
