Henry DeSagu Breaks Silence after Being Connected to Murder Suspect John Matara Amidst Social Media Speculation

Renowned comedian Henry DeSagu has finally addressed the rumors linking him to the murder suspect, John Matara, who is connected to the tragic death of socialite Starlet Wahu, the sister of Pastor Kanyari. DeSagu took to his Facebook page to humorously dismiss any familial ties with Matara, whose images have circulated widely on social media since the weekend when the news of Starlet Wahu’s suspected murder made headlines.

Emphatically, DeSagu stated that he has absolutely no connection with John Matara, despite the circulating jokes suggesting a brotherly resemblance between them. In his own words, he declared, “I have no relationship with John Matara. Any such hullabaloo associating me with him should be disregarded, discombobulated, and disconfigured with utmost hubwatete.”

Despite DeSagu’s clarification, his fans remained persistent in their belief that he and Matara share a remarkable resemblance, particularly in their facial features. Stacey Waweru remarked, “The truth be told. The resemblance is uncanny, from the pose, eye sockets, lips, and the face is 100% Wang’ombe! But what are we saying?” Dennis Mutembei commented, “This is your brother, sir,” while Joy Joy the Girl added, “Maybe nurses who were in the ward should bring the truth. This is not just a brother, he’s a twin.”

John Matara was apprehended shortly after Starlet Wahu’s lifeless body was discovered in an AirBnB house in South B. Currently in police custody, Matara faces allegations of violence from numerous other women who claim to have experienced perilous situations at his hands.

The funeral for Starlet Wahu took place on Saturday afternoon in Kamulu, on the outskirts of Nairobi. The ceremony was attended solely by close family members and was expedited due to the circumstances surrounding her tragic death.
