A female police officer is nursing assault injuries inflicted by a robbery with violence suspect who escaped custody on Monday, 27 December, 2021.
Elizabeth Muleso attached to the Ndakaini Police Station is said to have been assulted by David Kamau Muturi aged 31.
A report stated that the suspect banged her against the wall at the station before escaping.
“It was reported by Elizabeth Muleso Masaku that one male adult David Kamau Muturi aged 31 years hacked her while she was on duty and banged her against the wall leaving her unconscious and ran away, after opening the grill door at the report office,” the report read in part.
Elizabeth was rushed to the Kirwara Level Four Hospital.
The report also revealed that Daniel had been accused of robbery with violence and rape and had earlier on been remanded in Thika.
