Inspiring story OF Oscar Sudi From Makanga to Kapseret MP

Oscar Sudi, the MP for Kapseret in Eldoret, has come a long way from his humble beginnings as a makanga and cattle herder. Today, he lives in a luxurious Sh100 million mansion, a testament to his hard work and determination to succeed.

Before the 2013 General Election, Sudi was just another Kenyan hustler trying to make a living. But his relentless pursuit of success and wealth has earned him the nickname “Sonko of Eldoret”, a reference to the flamboyant Nairobi governor Mike Sonko.

Sudi’s rise to the top has not been without controversy, as he is known for his flashy lifestyle and two spouses. However, he has always maintained that his good fortune is a result of his hard work, respect for others, and concern for humanity.

In a previous interview with The Nairobian, Sudi shared his story of growing up in poverty and how he worked his way up to become a successful businessman and politician. He spoke of his early days as a charcoal merchant and matatu tout, and how his entrepreneurial spirit led him to start a grocery store and eventually a motor dealership in Mombasa.

Sudi’s business dealings and political connections have brought him into contact with some of the most powerful people in the country, including Deputy President William Ruto, former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo, and current Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony.

Despite his wealth and fame, Sudi remains grounded and committed to helping those in need. He is a true example of how hard work and determination can lead to success, regardless of where you come from.
