During the burial ceremony of industrialist Chris Kirubi, another one of her children emerged and was given the opportunity to address the mourners.
The young lady has actually been recognised by Maryann Musangi Kirubi as their last born and by the time she left Kenya to go and study abroad, she was the youngest of her father’s children.

“I want to thank you all for being here to remember and celebrate the life of my dad, Chris Kirubi. To those gathered here who I haven’t met, I am Fiona Kirubi, the youngest of his children,” Fiona said.
Fiona is the mother of one child who is currently seven months old baby who will not get a chance to meet his grandfather since he has died while he is still at his young age.
“I wish he would have met the new addition to the family, my 7-month-old son Mufasa who would carry the name Kirubi. I promise to tell him all about his Guka when he grows up,” Fiona said.
