A police officer based at the Kabete police station has killed seven people after opening fire indiscriminately.
It is reported that the officer opened fire early today morning before going to his wife’s wine and spirt shop where he ordered her to close and go home.
He then later shot his wife dead in their house before heading to his car where he also shot himself dead.
“He inflicted injuries on the wife’s neck before he went to his car before he put the cock of the gun on his chin and fired,” an officer privy to the matter told a local daily.
It is not yet clear why the officer committed the actt as detectives from the Crime Unit comb the area to gather evidence.
