A Pregnant lady in labor has died after she allegedly fell off a delivery bed in a public general hospital.
It was said that the woman identified as Ann , who was pregnant with her first child went into labour and was rushed to the hospital late in the night.
The nurses purportedly slept off after a relative who was with the lady returned home to pick a few things. Ann’s family members returned to the hospital only to find her on the floor while the nurse was asleep.
A video which showed the lady lying dead became viral sparking a social media outrage.
An Instagram user @_heisvictor wrote, “Health worker in Nigeria need to act better please…the rate of negligence and I don’t care attitude is alarming”.
