Recently, a lady moved to court and sued Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka for child support.
The middle-aged lady recognized as Irene Mutaki wants Lusaka to acknowledge obligation regarding the unborn child and pay her Sh 25 million as child support.
Lawyer Danstan Omari, who is representing Irene, asserted that his client and the Senate speaker began dating in 2018 until May 2021 when they disagreed after she fell pregnant.
He supposedly asked her to terminate the pregnancy and when she refused, he cut communication with her.

She argued that being unemployed at the moment, she has been struggling to meet her needs and that Lusaka should be compelled to pay the lump sum to cater to all the expenses of the unborn child to avoid further neglect.
