Nyamira Girl Storms Out of Exam Room, Insults Principal Who Lured Her After Going Missing For Several Months

There was public drama in a school in Nyamira after a girl stormed out of the exam room after a disagreement with the school principal. The 19-year-old was baited to school after she disappeared for months.

Nyamira County Education Director Boniface Ouko confirmed the incident and confirmed that the head, Mr Kennedy Nyakundi, tried to guide the young lady and asked her to sit for the exams. It was then that she turned abusive towards her father and the school head.

“She had dropped out of school and the administration was looking for her. When she was finally traced and successfully lured to school, she simply rebelled against the principal and her parents before rudely walking away,” Mr Ouko said.

They could not establish where the young lady had been before she reported to the school. Mr Ouko said the young lady was among group of students who registered for KCSE but failed to sit for the national exams.
