Renowned Kenyan actress and content creator, Caroline Muthoni Ngethe, popularly known as Carrol Sonnie, finds herself in a remarkably fortunate position today following her recent involvement in a serious road accident.
In a statement released on Thursday evening, the former companion of comedian Mulamwah revealed that she and others, whom she did not specify, narrowly escaped a fatal outcome in the harrowing incident. Although they survived, the traumatic experience left Carrol Sonnie shaken and fearful.
“Oh God. We almost lost our lives in a car accident… Our God is a God of another chance,” expressed Carrol Sonnie through her Instastories. She added, “I am so traumatized. Oh God!”
While she did not delve into further details about the terrifying accident, she continued to express her gratitude to God for sparing her from the ordeal.
Approximately two months ago, Carrol Sonnie and her co-parent, Mulamwah, engaged in a public disagreement about their collaboration in raising their two-year-old daughter.
In October, Mulamwah expressed his desire to contribute to their child’s upbringing. During an Instagram Q&A session, he revealed the challenges he faced in being involved in his daughter’s life, noting that his attempts to provide financial support and gifts were consistently rejected.
“I am trying to help, but it’s not easy. You send money, it gets reversed. Even birthday gifts I sent were returned. So, it becomes very difficult,” Mulamwah responded to a fan inquiry about his role in raising his daughter.
The 30-year-old comedian expressed confusion about the source of the problem between him and his former partner.
Later, Carrol Sonnie seemingly confirmed the return of money and assistance from her ex-boyfriend, Mulamwah, for their daughter’s upbringing. In a brief statement, she hinted at the importance of rejecting offers that lack respect.
“Good morning. Just a quick reminder. No matter how broke you are, DO NOT ACCEPT offerings that come with LACK OF RESPECT,” wrote Sonnie.
