“Hakuna shule iko karibu” – Omosh explains why he has not relocated to house he was gifted 2 years ago

After Omosh appealed to the Kenyan public for assistance, a compassionate individual stepped forward and generously provided him with a three-bedroom house, complete with a master ensuite. However, this house remains unoccupied.

Joseph Kinuthia, the actor known as Omosh Kizangila from the TV show “Tahidi High,” has offered an explanation as to why he has not yet relocated to the new home that was constructed for him by a kind benefactor in 2021.

In response to Omosh’s plea for financial support from fellow Kenyans, Kathy Andrew, the CEO and founder of Sung Timber, along with her friends, undertook this benevolent act. The house features three bedrooms, including a master ensuite, and boasts an open American-style kitchen.

Nonetheless, Omosh openly acknowledged that the house remains unoccupied at present due to practical considerations, primarily concerning his children’s education. In an interview conducted by Nicholas Kioko on August 21, he revealed that the proximity of the nearest school poses a challenge. The considerable distance his children would have to travel to attend school is the main hurdle.

Omosh emphasized that the house holds a special place in his heart as their true home, and he intends to move in once his children are a bit older.

“The house is still there. There are logistical aspects I’m considering, such as the children’s schooling. It’s available, but currently, the nearest school is quite a distance away. I wouldn’t want to inconvenience the child by having them travel back and forth in the morning and evening. We’ll move once they’ve grown a bit. That place is ours. That is home,” stated Omosh.

A pivotal factor in Omosh’s transformative journey has been his triumph over alcoholism and smoking. Through his embrace of faith, he has managed to successfully navigate this transition.

Omosh acknowledged that life brings its share of challenges, but his faith has provided him with inner strength. Reflecting on his past, he admitted to attempting to handle everything on his own, even describing a period of hitting the “factory settings” to start anew.

“At the moment, I’m doing well. Life has its challenges, but God has heard me. I came to realize that there were so many things I tried to do on my own. I used to struggle like a train, but I fought my way out,” he remarked.

His decision to quit alcohol was motivated by painful experiences. Memories of violent behavior, loss of appetite, and financial strain weighed heavily on him. This realization deepened when he tragically lost two friends in 2022, prompting him to reevaluate his own path.

Family remains a cornerstone of Omosh’s life despite his personal struggles. Contrary to popular belief, he confirmed that he has not divorced any of his wives. His family remains intact and united.

“I have never divorced. I have my family, my people, my children, and we are intact!” he asserted.

During his recent period of staying out of the public eye, he invested his time in reconnecting with loved ones, visiting schools, and spending quality time with friends and neighbors.

While Omosh envisions a resilient return to the entertainment world, he is presently relying on an ambassadorial role that he obtained with the help of a friend for his financial stability.
