For some families in Kenya, sending their dead kin in style is an essential path for them to show their last regards and with a Range Rover Limousine funeral wagon worth at Ksh20 million, now they can.
Addressing muranganewspaper.co.ke, an agent from Delight Funeral Directors affirmed that the funeral wagon hire services has broken new grounds since its the first of its kind in kenya.
The limo spots a maroon tone colour and has long gull-wing doors that can hold adult size funeral car. On its backside, it has swan entryways that can sit three people.
“The limousine cost around Ksh18 to Ksh20 million. Now, we are charging Ksh500,000. It just landed. The business itself has been around for five years,” he explained.
He added that the firm was challenged to add the costly machine into its armada to extend its quality services.
“Change from the normal. We are focused in improving daily and our slogan is quality runs deep. That is what is guiding us. We want to improve everyday in all aspects,” he added.
On its sides, the vehicle has two windscreens covered with shades.
Inside, the lavish vehicle has a rotational board on which the casket sits that is isolated from the driver’s sit by a board.
Delight Funeral Directors has been in operation for a very long time offering its administrations all over the country and in certain parts of Uganda.
The organization has a fleet of around 60 vehicles including Landcruiser hearses, a Jaguar Limousine, Prados that pulls chariots, ordinary vans, seven seaters hearses and Mercedes Benz hearses.
The organization held an intruduction ceremony of the beast complete with a prayer service during the presentation of the Limousine into its armada.
