Guardian Angel, the renowned Kenyan gospel performer, known for his soul-stirring melodies, recently opened up about the challenges he faced after tying the knot. Despite encountering severe public outrage and criticism, Guardian Angel and his wife have remained devoted to each other and steadfast in their unique decisions.
During a candid interview with local media outlets on July 29, Guardian Angel touched upon their views on having children and how they deal with societal pressure. Instead of dwelling on the negativity, they choose to focus on their love and happiness.
When Guardian Angel initially got married, the couple faced harsh public criticism, with people questioning and disapproving of their choices, particularly about having kids. Guardian Angel gracefully reminds everyone that each person’s life journey is distinct and not bound by others’ expectations.
While he acknowledges that he listens to what people have to say, he places greater emphasis on following God’s instructions. He explained that he doesn’t let those comments affect their happiness, stating, “I pay attention to people’s opinions, but I don’t let them dictate my actions. I listen to God and do what He guides me to do. Those things don’t impact us; we simply enjoy life.”
Guardian Angel reveals that he refrains from reading negative comments as he believes everyone has their own path to walk, and if someone desires a child, they should seek that path themselves.
Rather than allowing the criticisms to strain their relationship, Guardian Angel and his wife choose to celebrate their love and joy in being together. He expresses his genuine affection for his wife, affirming that she holds a special place in his heart beyond just being a potential mother of his children.
While Guardian Angel would wholeheartedly welcome the opportunity to have a child with his wife, he also accepts that it might not be part of God’s plan. He firmly believes in God’s wisdom and trusts in His divine purpose for their lives.
“The best part about my marriage is simply being with my wife. I cherish our love, and she means more to me than just having children. If we are blessed with a child, I’ll be grateful to God; if not, I’ll still be content,” he said.
Guardian Angel’s outlook on life and marriage is one of acceptance and faith in God’s plan. He warmly embraces the children from his wife’s previous relationships as an integral part of their life and relishes the joy they bring into their home.
Esther Musila, his wife, has three kids from her previous marriage, whom Guardian Angel lovingly considers a cherished part of their family.
