Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria has dismissed the BBI saying that it only seeks to bring more benefits to the people in top government.
The legislator said that the BBI Bill proposal on Nominating 180 women was meant to benefit a few officials in the deep state adding that the wage bill is not good for Kenyans.
“52% of our money go to salaries. It means 49 million people are working from morning to 1 pm to pay one million people, akina sisi. How fair is that?”
“How stupid can the 49 million be? Si muungane against these kaone million people? I personally say that Kenya is a country of 49 million fools and one million conmen,” he said.
With analysts saying that the president’s is loosing grip of the Mt Kenya region, the BBI Bill is a far fetched dream by top leadership and will be opposed by Kenyans who have labeled the government as a sellout to its people.
Notably, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro during the Parliamentary BBI voting process, opposed the bill strongly saying that it was a calculated move by the deep state to enrich themselves while the ordinary Kenyan suffered.
