In an unexpected twist, a Nigerian woman who recently celebrated landing a new job found herself dismissed just three hours after starting at her new workplace.
The woman, who had accepted the job a month earlier, shared her excitement on social media, only to be confronted with a harsh reality shortly after beginning her duties.
In a video shared on TikTok by @denreleedunshair, she recounted her surprising ordeal. She explained that she was assigned to the firm by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and had been eagerly anticipating her first day.
However, her enthusiasm quickly faded when the managing director of the firm saw her and immediately instructed her to leave.
She noted that she was not the only one affected by this sudden dismissal, as several others were also asked to leave.
Despite the shock and disappointment, she did not provide further details regarding the managing director’s reasons for the abrupt decision.
