Stephen Wanjohi notable by his mimic character of an elderly woman alias Shosho Nyakairo,He was without a doubt the ‘king’ of comedy in the 90’s up to 2010.
His star started diminishing after he said a quit to the Royal Media Services radio station, specifically Inooro FM in 2010, where he was a co-host with the now ‘governor wa ngogoyo’ ,Kamau Wa Kange’the.
After two years of quitting Inooro FM,he joined Papa Shilandura, a local program that was being aired on Citizen TV. His caracter however did not change as he continued as the mother to ‘wa Firethi’
Unfortunately the program ended indefinitely in July 2020 after the demise of the lead character, Charles Bukeko, Shosho Nyakairo returned to his home town in Murang’a.
In his home, which is in Murang’a County, the veteran a farmer, he is currently doing green house farming. He is not however done with entertainment industry since he takes up gigs whenever they come by as an MC.
In a recent interview,he confirmed that he will soon make a comeback although he didn’t disclose when. His unique character and source of humor has always made many who can’t wait his comeback laugh.
