Lots of Kameme FM fans were shocked after the revelation that popular Morning devotion show host, Wamucii Wa Kinyari had left the station.
Wakinyari left the station early August but did not reveal the reason as to why she quit her job.
The presenter has now shared details saying that Kameme FM fired her after failing to air an advert which cost the station a downturn of Ksh 116,000.
She said that the error on her program was not her fault seeing that she was not informed by the program controler of the said advertisement.
The advert which was paid for by CFF bishop Michael Wanderi was supposed to air on her show that said day but failed due to a miscommunication.
She went on to add that the station fined her extremely high a thing she could not afford saying that her salary was way below 20% of the advertisement fee.
Wakinyari divulged that her salary at Kameme was Ksh 28,000 and could not raise the cash for her to be r-enstated to the station.
Currently, Wamucii is as radio host with Radio Africa’s group, Iganjo FM.
