Ruto’s UDA Humiliates Uhuru Yet Again In Kiambaa.

UDA Party’s John Wanjiku Njuguna is now the new Member of Parliament for Kiambaa Constituency in the just concluded by-election.

John Wanjiku Njuguna garnered 21,773 votes beating Jubilee candidate, Kariri Njama who got 21,263 votes.

Meanwhile, Jubilee Party has trounced UDA in the hotly contested Muguga ward by elections, Kiambu County.

Jubilee candidate, Joseph Kinuthia Githinji emerged the winner with 4,089 votes followed by his UDA rival, Peter Kamau Thumbi who got 4,062 votes.

Thirdway Alliance party came in a distant third after their candidate, Moses Gichau was badly humiliated with 49 votes.

Reports by the IEBC indicates that a total of 8,342 votes were cast with 8,232 of the votes being verified while 110 were rejected.

The muguga ward seat fell vacant after the death of Eliud Ngige on March, 16 after he succumbed to Covid-19 at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
