Hours before the announcement, Rosa Ree had posted a video of herself in tears, revealing that she was going through a tough time, although the exact cause was unknown. The hitmaker stated that she was struggling with issues that felt dark to her and felt helpless in finding answers to her questions. Despite putting on a brave face, Rosa Ree felt that her personal struggles were being ignored as long as she kept entertaining her fans and promoting her music.
Rosa Ree expressed her dilemma, questioning if her fans would still be there for her if she opened up about her struggles. She was afraid that her confession would be turned into headlines for gossip blogs, and her life would be reduced to a mere movie for people’s entertainment.
In response to her Instagram meltdown, many of her fans sent her messages of love and support, encouraging her to stay strong and turn to God during her trying times.
