High Court allows auction of ANNE WAIGURU’s Kitisuru home– She will be homeless soon

Kirinyaga Governor, Anne Waiguru, has endured a blow after the High Court permitted developers to sell her home in Kitisuru over non-payment of Sh 4.5 million.

The developers, James Ndungu and Robert Marekia owe Frame Consultants Sh 4.5 million and since Waiguru was yet complete paying for the house, the court said it was in order for them to auction it.

While conveying the ruling, Justice Alfred Mabeya said Frame Consultants could either attach the house or request that the governor settle the challenged sum.

“In this regard, Frame Consultants can either attach or auction the property to recover its debt,” the Judge ruled.

Waiguru bought the Sh 80 million house in 2015. Of the total, she paid KSh 40 million and was at the point to settle the balance.

The Kirinyaga boss has a legal dispute where she is blamed for not paying the remaining Sh 40 million however she moved to court and the court gave a transitory order preventing her expulsion from the house.

The House is situated in Kihingo Estate, Kitisuru.
