Dennis Ombachi, also known as the Roaming Chef, is a Kenyan rugby player who has revealed his passion for cooking. In an interview with a local news channel, he credited his love for cooking to his childhood, where he spent time watching his mother cook.
“I love being next to my mom. I watched her cook for us and that’s how my cooking passion developed,” Ombachi said. He also revealed that he learned to bake his first cake while young by simply watching his mother cook.
In addition to his passion for cooking, Ombachi’s appetite for food also played a big role in perfecting his skills. “I am a big eating and cooking fan. Because of this, I had to train myself on how to make different recipes,” he said.
Ombachi shares videos of his cooking on social media and provides different recipes for his fans to try at home. He has even invested in cameras to record himself live while cooking.
The Roaming Chef has also gained recognition from popular American online media franchise, First We Feast, for some of his food-related videos. He is a self-taught chef who has developed unique and next-level kind of recipes.
