A pastor in Nigeria found himself in a state of disorientation as he was carried into his church’s sanctuary following a 21-day fasting and prayer regimen aimed at warding off death.
Victor Great, the prominent leader of the Zion Ark of Covenant International Bible Church located in Delta State, was physically debilitated after successfully completing a rigorous 21-day period of fasting and prayer.
A video posted on the church’s official Facebook page captured the moment when the clergyman, adorned in pristine white garments, was gently transported from his vehicle to the church’s sacred altar by dedicated protocol officers. Upon his placement on the ground, he was surrounded by his devoted congregation. In this fragile state, Pastor Victor Great proceeded to deliver profound prophetic messages, with his followers raptly absorbing his words.
On Wednesday, August 30, the pastor made an announcement through a video shared on the church’s Facebook page. He declared his intention to embark on a grueling 21-day fast and prayer initiative with the sole purpose of “shutting the doors of death.”
In his message, he passionately stated, “You won’t find me anywhere I’m going. I will go into seclusion and beseech God on behalf of my people. The gate to my destination is already open. Do you think this is my personal desire? It’s a divine mission. I have come here to challenge the very gates of death and declare that there are individuals I shall not permit to come under harm’s way under my watch.”
