Natalie Githinji, “I Provided For My Ex-Boyfriend For 8 Months Hakuwa na Job, Alafu Akaniaacha Baadaye

During a sincere conversation with Oga Obinna, NRG Radio host Natalie Githinji candidly shared details about a previous relationship in which she financially supported a man for a duration of eight months.

Reflecting on the incident from her college days, Githinji explained that she not only provided the man with accommodation but also extended financial assistance despite his lack of employment. While his financial status didn’t bother her, she grappled with issues related to his poor personal hygiene and unsatisfactory sexual performance.

“I was in a relationship for a span of 8 months,” Githinji disclosed. “During that time, he was unemployed. Unfortunately, he struggled with bad body odor, and his performance in intimate matters was also lacking.”

She stressed that the primary reason for terminating the relationship was the unpleasant body odor, asserting, “I was fine with him not having money, but the body odor became overwhelming.”

Githinji elaborated that she persisted in the relationship for an extended period because she sought emotional support and stability. “I just needed someone to lean on,” she confessed. “My goal was to settle down by the age of 20, start a family, and have children of my own.”

The presenter also revealed that she had to discontinue her university education due to personal challenges, including her battle with endometriosis. “I was at NIBS, but I didn’t complete my exams,” she admitted. “During that period, I was still dealing with endometriosis, and I never disclosed this to my mother.”

Githinji’s forthright account of her past relationship sheds light on the complexities of navigating relationships, especially in the face of personal and financial hardships. Her narrative underscores the significance of self-worth and the establishment of boundaries in relationships.
