A cat fight between mother and daughter over a man in Nairobi’s Eastleigh estate has ended up in court.
Be that as it may, it’s simply the daughter who has found herself in difficult situation after she purportedly beat the mother leaving her with head wounds.
As per court papers, Hodhan Abdulahi Abdikadir (charged) committed the offense against her mom, Fatuma Sirat Ghedi.
The two were living together before the said daughter moved out to stay with the man inquestion. Obscure to her, her mom had been secretly having an affair with the same man.
On the material day, police report indicate that the young lady coincidentally found her mom and her lover at a local entertainment joint.
Hodhan said to the police that when she spotted them, they seemed as though they were up to something,prompting her to create a scene.
Her mom told police she could hardly imagine how her own daughter could call her a whore and needed to retaliate for her respect.
Things turned ugly, with the young lady smearing her mom’s face with mud from a close by ravine.
It took the intercession of police on patrol to stop the fight, which people were enjoying as they cheered on.
When she was arraigned in court Hodan denied assault charge and was set free on Sh10, 000 cash bail pending the hearing on 28th February next year.
