“Nlikua na wa rent, food, nguo, vacations lakini Mungu amenibariki nko na bwana sasa”, Diana Marua opens up on being a side-chick to married men, dating different men for money

Before Diana Marua met her husband, Bahati, and embraced the role of a loving wife and mother, her life took a different path. In a candid revelation on her YouTube channel, this popular YouTuber acknowledged a phase in her life where she used her relationships with men for financial gain. Diana’s justification for her actions stemmed from her humble beginnings as a child, which fueled her desire for a more comfortable and prosperous life.

In her own words, Diana shared, “I’ve made choices in my life that I’m not proud of, but that was then, and this is now. I’m sharing this story because I want my experiences to inspire and uplift someone else. I want you to understand that whatever challenges you’re facing in your life right now are temporary. At one point, I used to date men for financial support.”

She candidly admitted to dating men primarily for their financial resources during a period in her life when she yearned for a better life. Diana elaborated, “I dated men for money, and I had one who paid my rent, another who covered my household expenses, and someone else who bought me clothes and took me out.”

Contrary to claims that she married Bahati for his wealth, Diana clarified that when she met her husband, she was already financially secure. She said, “Let me clarify something: in my early twenties, I never had financial problems. People on social media may speculate about me marrying Bahati for his money, but let me tell you, even when Bahati and I hung out, I drove different cars each time we met. He noticed and asked me, ‘Where do you get all these cars?’ At that point, we didn’t know each other well.”

She continued, “He knew I didn’t have a conventional job, but I lived a comfortable life. I dressed well, and when I went shopping, I bought so much that my fridge couldn’t even close properly. That was my life.”

Diana confessed that, at the time, she had deceived Bahati about her source of wealth. She claimed to run a car rental company, which explained her ability to frequently change cars. In reality, it was one of her boyfriends who operated the car rental business, not her.

“I had a boyfriend who ran a car rental business, and he allowed me to drive any car I desired. I lied to Bahati, claiming that I managed a car rental company with a fleet of vehicles. I didn’t reveal the truth,” Diana admitted.

Diana went on to share another aspect of her past life. She revealed that she had once been involved with a married man as his mistress. She explained, “There was a time when I was deeply attached to a married man, and he had feelings for me as well. He told me that he couldn’t leave his wife, but he was willing to buy me a car and a house in my name. He even offered to help me have one of the three children I wanted at the time.”

However, Diana eventually realized the emotional toll of being involved with a married man, and she decided to end the relationship. She reflected on the ineffectiveness of such relationships, recognizing that they are temporary and often lead to pain and disappointment.

In sharing her personal journey, Diana Marua offers insights into the complexities of human behavior, choices, and the desire for a better life. Her story serves as a reminder that people can evolve and grow, leaving behind past mistakes to embrace a more fulfilling future.
