As the country gears up for the 2022 General Elections, Nginda Ward, Maragua-Murang’a County Male MCA aspirants have been called out for their uncouth behavior where they allegedly looked down on one of the female aspirants.
Njeri wa Muchiri who is eyeing the rather hotly contested seat speaking to Murang’a Newspaper divulged that she was brutalized by her male counterparts at a rally attended by DP Ruto in Murang’a South over the past weekend.

The West Human Resource Center Founder and first time Nginda Ward MCA aspirant stated that the male eying the seat in the area allegedly locked vehicles used by the aspirants to advertise themselves during the rally and almost got physical with her.
I was attacked by my fellow aspirants from Nginda ward just because I am a female aspiring to be an MCA in this ward,
Njeri said.
She went on to call out the male contestants saying that such levels of impunity and cowardice can not be tolerated anywhere in the country especially when it comes to gender discrimination.
Njeri also went on to ask Nginda ward residents to vote her in as their next MCA come 2022 adding that she is ready to work for and with the area residents.
