A 17-year-old young girl has revealed her 45 year father, has sexually abused her consistently for seven years.
The school girl who revealed this to the Police said she fled from home when she was unable to bear the abuse anymore.
Narrating her story, the young lady said her dad who is a secondary school teacher started molesting her in 2014 and has continued ever since.
He said the abuse started after her mom left home because of health problems.
She added that her dad’s wife who had been lecturing her with regards to keeping herself from men until she got married didn’t know about what she was going through.
“I could no longer bear it and there was nobody I could tell because he threatened to kill me if I expose his action.
“This made me run away from the house till I was invited by the police to come to the station.”
However, the suspect who had been arrested by the Police denied the charges made by his daughter.
According to the suspect, “It was her mother that cooked up the story against me just to tarnish my image in the society because she is no longer staying with me as my wife. I never slept with my daughter.”
One of the relatives of the victim uncovered that the girl confided in her with regards to what had been going on.
The relative who wanted obscurity said the young lady disclosed to her that the dad used to sleep with her whenever he was drunk.
