In 2016, Lucia Alessandra, a mzungu Kenyan conductor, became a phenomenon. Lucia was born in Runda, Nairobi, and currently resides in the affluent suburbs of Karen. Lucia proclaimed her adoration for “nganya” and her desire to conduct for the rest of her life.
Recently, the mzungu has been absent from her job due to a medical ailment. Lucia stated to Nairobi, “It is true that I have been absent from the matatus.” I became ill and was transported to the hospital, where I was informed that I had gallstones in my gallbladder.
Lucia wants 400,000 shillings to remove her gallstones surgically. The matatu group has been collecting donations for Lucia’s surgical expenses. Lucia enjoys her job and claims her coworkers have always respected her. She pledges to return once she is feeling better.
