Inside Pastor Ezekiel Ksh. 10 Billion Home, Hotels, Malls, and Helipad built by his Followers

On December 10th, Pastor Ezekiel Odero Helipad gave the media a tour of his 65-acre property owned by the New Life Church. The property, located in Mavueni, Kilifi County, is set to become a self-sufficient neighborhood with various social amenities due to a multi-million dollar investment. Odero’s vision for the property is to create a community where people can live, work, and worship in one place.

A megachurch was built on 10% of the property, and it can hold over 6,000 people on plastic chairs. Odero lives up to the word he preaches by utilizing only a fraction of the land to build the church, leaving plenty of space for other establishments. One of the several hotels set to occupy a slice of the property is almost complete, and it will stand alongside other establishments like malls and supermarkets.

Several residential houses will also be built on the property, and occupants will have access to an international school and university. The goal is to create a self-sufficient community where people can live, work, and study in one place.

Odero acknowledged that most of the attendees at his church are from Nairobi, Tanzania, America, and other countries. However, he hopes to attract more believers from the Coast. Despite drawing large crowds, Odero insisted that the photographs of his events were not staged. He claimed that people came to see Jesus performing miracles through him, not to see him.

Odero’s journey to the altar was not straightforward. He had to leave the university in his third year due to a lack of school fees. It was then that he felt called to the altar. Although he spends little time with his kids, Odero’s greatest joy in life is to see people saved and healed.
