A Nakuru pastor has moved to court seeking annulment of his marriage to a lady he alleged to be a lesbian.
The man moved to court seeking to end his 5 years of marriage with one child under their names.
The 30-year-old man told a Nakuru court that he married the lady he met on Facebook in 2015 not knowing that she was a lesbian.He went on to add that their wedding was held in April 16, 2016 at a local church in Nakuru.
Principal Magistrate, Yvonne Khatami while giving her ruling said that the uniom was broken and could not be salvaged.
It is evident that both parties are no longer interested in the marriage and that there is no possibility of reconciliation. In the absence of any other position to the contrary, I hereby dissolve the marriage between the petitioner (FJO) and the respondent (PNM),
reads the judgment delivered on Tuesday.
The man who works at a Nakuru based church said he lost interest in marriage seeing that his wife denied him his conjugal rights.
She told me she had no interest in men and that she practiced lesbianism,
I lost interest in the marriage. I felt embarrassed I was a worship leader. I even stopped going to church as a result of embarrassment,
He said.
