Esther Musila, the spouse of Kenyan gospel artist Guardian Angel, has once again addressed inquiries about their plans for starting a family. The 53-year-old Musila and her 33-year-old husband, Guardian Angel, entered into matrimony in 2022 after a three-year courtship. Despite relishing their marital bliss, some online users persist in pressuring them to have children.
One fan queried Musila during an interactive session on her Instagram page, asking, “So, are you intending to have a baby soon?” Musila, seemingly perturbed by the question, responded, “What significance would that bring to your life?”
She provided a similar response to another follower who urged her to bless Guardian Angel with a child. Esther, already a mother of three grown children—two sons and a daughter—emphasized during the Q&A session that there are only three things she cannot live without: water, food, and her husband.
Guardian Angel’s stance on having a child with Esther Musila was made clear last year when he expressed that it wasn’t a priority for him. In an interview, the 33-year-old singer emphasized that their relationship is rooted in love, not necessarily the prospect of expanding their family.
Guardian Angel stated that having a child with Musila would be a divine blessing, but it is not a mandatory aspect of their union. He emphasized, “When I entered into marriage, having a child is secondary. Whether we have one or not, I am content. Love is our primary focus. If God sees fit to bless us with a baby, that’s wonderful. However, if it doesn’t happen, it’s a bonus; we appreciate and enjoy what we have. Our love is my priority.”
The singer conveyed that their love alone is sufficient and has brought tranquility into his life. He emphasized, “Whether we are blessed with a child or not, it doesn’t diminish my love for my wife in the slightest.”
The couple exchanged vows on January 4th the previous year, in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends. This celebration came after more than a year of a romantic relationship between the two.
