On the occasion of Friday, Diana Marua, a well-known YouTube vlogger, joyously marked the birthdays of her husband, Kelvin ‘Bahati’ Kioko, and their adopted son, Morgan Bahati.
Kelvin, the musician, reached the age of 31 on December 22, 2023, coinciding with Morgan’s celebration of his 14th birthday on the same date.
Expressing her heartfelt sentiments and commemorating the two significant men in her life on social media, Diana shared a glimpse into her history with Morgan, shedding light on how he became an integral part of her life.
On her Instagram post, Diana Marua wrote, “22/12/2023 MY SON @MORGANBAHATI TURNS 14 AND MY HUSBAND BAHATI TURNS 31.”
She went on to narrate the journey of her relationship with Morgan, recounting that in the early days with Bahati, Morgan used to refer to her as his aunt. However, as time passed, the young man expressed the desire to address her as his mother.
“When I met my husband, he had adopted Morgan from the orphanage where they were both raised. I loved Bahati with everything in me, and everyone around him. Morgan used to call me Aunt Dee, and a few months later, he said to me… Can I call you Mom? Because my friends ask why I call them Dad, Dad, and you Aunty, and they see you together… these children thought IFYYK,” shared Diana.
The mother of three acknowledged Morgan’s significant role in their lives and expressed gratitude to God for bringing him into their family.
“Morgan, I hope you find love in us because we could never ask for a greater blessing than to be your parents ❤️,” Diana wrote to her adopted son.
In another message to Morgan, Bahati’s wife encouraged the 14-year-old to always remember the journey and progress they have made with God’s guidance. “I love you, Morgan Bahati,” Diana expressed.
She concluded by expressing pride in her decision to be part of Bahati’s life, referring to it as the best decision she ever made.
