Kirinyaga Governor, Anne Waiguru is currently facing a hard time with the youths after the Kirinyaga Youth Alliance issued a statement against her.
The youths said that they have endorsed United Democratic Alliance Candidates, Purity Ngirici in her bid to Kirinyaga’s top seat.
“We have sat down and found that the only leader who we elected and has been with us in different projects as youths is Wangui Ngirici.”
“We will support her as a youth in her gubernatorial race and that is why we have opened the Kirinyaga Youth Alliance,” said Sammy Maina the founder of the group.
They blamed Waiguru for the current economic hardships in the country and the rise of unemployment in the area where they accused the Governor of being the mother of corruption.
