Over the December holiday, you might have come across the meme of the dancing chief, with his flexible moves to the song ‘kuna kuna ‘.
Chief John Ogilo Migun popularly known has ‘BABY ‘ after the video surfaced said that he was undercover assignment on drug abuse. They with collegues had finished their patrol when they went to a joint to have late lunch.
While waiting for his chicken to be prepared, Baby decided to join the dance flow to the song ‘kuna kuna’. Sure to his dance steps one can say he is a professional dancer at his age.
During an interview, Chief Migun stated that he also works as a professional netball coach in secondary schools and colleges. He went ahead to say that, since the emergence of the video, it has consequently changed his life. People now especially the youth can interact with him freely and he is able to relate easily with people compared to before when they considered him to have a beast face.
“It has definitely created a better interaction with the youth because they now come to my office because of the video. They are now free to talk to talk to me about issues that bother them including the consumption of drugs. They give me more information like yesterday in the morning I conducted a raid because of the same ” he said.
He states that he can now work easily to get intelligence reports. He also stated that he was nicknamed Baby by his grandfather.Chief Migun is probably one among the many heroes in our society trying to fight drug abuse. Creatively without his knowledge he has gained a significance value related to his work. he has a good rapport especially with the youth and subsequently would provide them with good support on issues of life so that they can better themselves.
