A 30-year-old Murang’a lady identified as Mary Wanjiru is the recent victim of police brutality in Kenya.
The lady is seeking her justice as she receives treatment at the Murang’a Level 5 hospital after a heavy beating by two police officers.
It is alleged that the officers descended on Mary after she refused to buy them alcohol at the Mukuyu Market, Murang’a Town few hours before curfew.
Kenyans condemned the officers’ action with some implying that extrajudicial killings will now be a norm soon.
