This video clip, dating back five years, served as a nostalgic reminder of Jalang’o’s time at Hot 96, where he co-hosted the morning show alongside Jeff Koinange. During this period, Jalang’o delighted in sharing and interpreting amusing quotes, a segment he playfully referred to as the ‘Mugabe school of quotes’.
In the featured video, which focused on Kenyan women, Jalang’o humorously remarked:
“Physical appearance is what it is. Let’s set aside discussions about inner beauty. After all, men don’t carry X-ray machines to appraise inner beauty.”
Throughout his career as a radio host at Kiss FM, Milele FM, and Hot 96, Jalang’o, a member of parliament representing Langata, has been widely recognized for his comedic expressions. Recently, he disclosed his pursuit of a master’s degree and participation in aviation lessons alongside DJ Joe Mfalme, with the goal of obtaining a private pilot’s license.
Expressing his ambitious aspirations, he voiced his determination to become the first Luo president and to pen a book titled ‘Satan Must Repent’. Additionally, he alluded to a potential return to the radio scene, reminiscing that his earnings as a radio host once exceeded his current salary as a legislator.
