Akothe: I want to be buried in my wedding gown

Akothee, a well-known Kenyan artist and mother of five, recently announced that if she were to pass away, she would like to be buried in her wedding gown. Akothee is currently engaged to Omondi, the love of her life, and has already purchased a stunning gown from Switzerland worth Ksh. 690,000. She also splurged on her bridal shoes, which cost Ksh. 172,000.

For her wedding, Akothee has opted not to have a wedding committee, unlike many others who create WhatsApp groups with hundreds of members to fundraise and coordinate the wedding. Instead, she expressed her gratitude towards Sandra Dacha, who is not only a friend but also an event planner and wedding planner. Akothee has deemed Sandra as her “wassap group, ndio committee and is everything,” and appreciates her more than a sister.

Akothee has also mentioned in the past that she would like Lang’ata Member of Parliament Jalang’o to read her eulogy when she passes away.

Akothee shared videos of herself and her fiancé while shopping for a wedding dress abroad, and mentioned that the dress cost much more than most people’s dream cars.

In conclusion, Akothee is excited for her upcoming wedding and is grateful for the people in her life who support her.
