A bodaboda rider, Antony Otieno, tragically lost his life while delivering an iPhone 17 Pro Max to a client in South B, Nairobi. CCTV footage obtained by KTN has revealed the horrifying sequence of events, showing three men allegedly involved in the murder, which reportedly took place in just nine minutes.
The footage shows Antony inside the Meridian Apartments, making a call to the client who had ordered the phone. Minutes later, two men are seen leaving the apartment hurriedly, covering their faces with masks in an apparent attempt to avoid identification.
Shortly afterward, a third man emerges carrying objects suspected to have been used in the attack. Investigators say the trio attacked Antony, killed him, and hid his body under a bed. The assailants are believed to have played loud music during the crime to ensure that neighbors did not hear Antony’s cries for help.
Police have confirmed that the murder took place in under ten minutes, highlighting the speed and planning behind the attack. Authorities are now using the CCTV footage to track down the suspects and bring them to justice.
The tragic incident has shocked Nairobi residents and raised concerns over the safety of delivery personnel, who are increasingly vulnerable to robberies and violent crimes while performing their jobs.
