A young Kenyan man in his early twenties has made a shocking confession. He opened up about how he had been having an affair with his pastor’s wife while the pastor was abroad preaching the gospel.
Speaking on the popular show My Deepest Secret on Reyo TV, the young man shared his story. He said that life was difficult in his rural village, so he decided to move to Nairobi in search of better opportunities. While in the city, he stayed with his cousin, but they continued to struggle. At times, they would go hungry for an entire day.
In a bid to change his life, the young man decided to give his life to Christ and joined a well-known church in Nairobi. He went to the altar and shared his struggles openly. The pastor and his wife were moved by his situation. The pastor decided to take him in as their own, especially since they had no children of their own.
The pastor enrolled him in school and even made him one of the directors at the church. He was entrusted with managing payments for church staff and ensuring church programs ran smoothly.
As the pastor often traveled abroad to preach, the young man was frequently left alone in the house with the pastor’s wife. Over time, they grew close. On her birthday, he gifted her flowers, lingerie, and other items. She appreciated the gesture, and their bond deepened.
On his birthday, the pastor’s wife also gave him a gift, and that marked the beginning of their intimate relationship. They started having sexual relations regularly whenever the pastor was away. According to the young man, the pastor’s wife enjoyed the affair and made it a habit.
However, everything fell apart one Sunday during a church service. The pastor’s wife was unexpectedly called to deliver a sermon and left her phone behind. The pastor, seemingly suspicious, checked her phone and discovered explicit WhatsApp messages between her and the young man.
To avoid creating a scene during the service, the pastor stayed calm, giving the young man an opportunity to flee.
The young man is now in hiding and says he deeply regrets his actions and the betrayal of the pastor’s trust.
