Kenyan comedian Vinnie Baite has expressed his desire to marry Charlene Ruto, the daughter of President William Ruto. Known for his popular phrase “achana nayo,” the comedian took to social media to share his feelings about the president’s daughter. In a message, Vinnie disclosed that if Charlene agrees to his proposal, he envisions assuming the role of the first son-in-law.
“I wish to marry Charlene Ruto so that I can have the Office of the First Son-in-Law,” he declared.
The notion of a “First Daughter Office” stirred controversy when Charlene Ruto revealed that she holds such a position. This announcement sparked a debate, with critics accusing the first family of creating unnecessary roles that burden taxpayers. However, Charlene defended her position, emphasizing that the First Daughter’s office operates as a private entity. In a statement, she clarified that it is not a constitutional office and is not funded by public money. The purpose of the office, she explained, is to solely facilitate her personal activities and programs.
