Inooro TV News Anchor, Njoroge Wa Githinji has revealed how K24 TV fired him when his wife got pregnant leaving him high and dry.
In an interview with Kenya Diaspora Media, the seasoned journalist detailed how he lost his job at the Mediamax owned station while his wife was barely four months pregnant.
“We were sacked from K24 in 2013, it’s good to clear the air that I was sacked. On that day, I was aggrieved since I knew It was inevitable through my connections. I knew the following day that I would be axed.”
“At the time I strolled to Fig Tree, Ngara and sat there wondering what would be my next move,” he stated.
“I got the job and got the chance to work alongside Joshua Makori as a co-host. The contract however ended that year in December,” he stated
He went on to explain how a friend at Ebru TV told him of an opportunity at Inooro TV and applied for the job.
He applied for a sport show at the Royal Media owned station but was instead given a job as a show host.
