One of the most well-known and polarizing figures in the Kenyan TikTok scene is Brian Chira, whose recent actions have set TikTok abuzz. Chira’s controversy emerged when he engaged in a heated dispute with prominent TikTok creators who had extended their support to him during a tumultuous period. This support came after he had faced legal trouble, having been arrested and sued for defamation by Azziad Nasenya.
Among those who rallied behind Brian Chira were Nyako and a cohort of TikTokers, with Nyakwar, known as Flaqo’s aunt, being a prominent supporter. However, Brian Chira chose to verbally attack them during a live broadcast, resorting to offensive language and statements aimed at Nyakwar and Nyako.
Nyakwar, recognized for her unapologetic and straightforward content, particularly when addressing misconduct, especially by men, retaliated against Brian Chira, resorting to body-shaming and demanding an apology from him.
She didn’t mince words as she quipped, “Brian Chira, your mouth is as colossal as the rear end of a double-cabin truck. That very mouth of yours gives you the audacity to insult the people who have supported you. Young man, it’s time to apologize, or we’ll deal with you once more,” she thundered at Chira.
Nyakwar had a lot to say, and her message was unequivocal. She merely sought an apology from Brian Chira on behalf of Nyako, herself, and all those he had insulted, despite their assistance. Chira, seemingly unfazed, persisted in his insults and defiantly asserted that they had no power over him.
