The Jubilee Party has kicked out Kiambu County Senator, Kimani Wamatangi, as Senate Majority Chief Whip.
This comes four days after the renowned Kiambu senator joined Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance(UDA) and embraced his presidential bid in August.
Wamatangi has been a close ally to president Uhuru Kenyattafor quite a while.
Be that as it may, the sensational change of events made the Head of State demand all his aides to do a good ground check after a good number of Jubilee leaders dumped the party for UDA.
During UDA’s National Delegates Conference(NDC), a several leaders from the president’s patio joined the renowned Hustlers team.
Among them was Wamatangi, Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria, and the former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo.
The three leaders vowed to work inseparably with Ruto to ensure he wins the August ninth Presidential elections.
