A 30-year-old man from Kilifi tragically lost his life during an intimate moment with his girlfriend.
According to reports, the incident occurred when Bernard Omayo choked on his own saliva.
Cecilia Chepkirui, Omayo’s girlfriend, reported to the Kilifi Police Station that he had been visiting her at her rented residence.
While they were engaged in foreplay, Omayo reportedly choked on his saliva and collapsed.
In a bid to save him, Chepkirui sought immediate help from her neighbors and rushed Omayo to Kilifi County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Authorities visited the scene, documented the incident, and transferred Omayo’s body to the Kilifi County Hospital Morgue for an autopsy.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Kilifi North is currently investigating the case to determine the exact circumstances surrounding Omayo’s sudden death.
