Jackie Matubia has confirmed that she did not go on a vacation to Mombasa with her fiancé, Blessing Lungaho.
The purpose of the Mombasa trip was to celebrate their daughter, Zendaya Lungaho, who recently turned one.
Jackie, who is a mother of two, traveled to Mombasa with her two daughters, her close friend Milly Chebby, Milly’s husband Terence Creative, and their daughter Milla.
Fans, however, noticed that Blessing was absent, even though they have been seen together during previous vacations.
During a phone interview with Ankali Ray from Milele FM, Jackie was questioned about a recent Instagram story that seemed to be directed towards Blessing, her baby daddy.
In the post, she was singing along to Zuchu’s song “Mwambieni.” Ankali asked if it was true that Blessing had been replaced and if there was a “new man” with her in Mombasa.
In response, the former Tahidi High actress clarified that she was in Mombasa with her children and that she is currently single. She also expressed her belief that she should be able to enjoy herself with some music.
She said, “I am in Mombasa with my children. Nobody owns me, and nobody can silence me. I am having a good time with my kids.”
When asked about Blessing’s whereabouts, Jackie Matubia mentioned that he was working in Nairobi to earn money for spoiling them. However, she was reluctant to confirm if he was the one funding the Mombasa vacation.
“Of course, he is working because someone needs to make money for us to have a good time. Who said that? You keep working while I enjoy myself,” she said. She also refused to reveal whether their relationship was still intact.
Ankali Ray attempted to contact Blessing for more information, but he hung up before providing any details. He mentioned that he had been sleeping alone and was about to head to work.
