Emmanuel Kisangani: “I Hate Jalang’o Because he Is Too Sucessfull”

Stand-up comedian Emmanuel Kisangani had his audience in hysterics after he joked about how fellow comedian Jalang’o’s success is impacting his own career.

He claimed that Jalang’o, who has now ventured into politics, is taking nearly every job the industry has to offer and making it difficult for other artists to find work. Kisangani pointed out that Jalang’o works in the morning as a co-presenter on Kiss 100 and then has a podcast full of advertising gigs in the afternoon.

He also revealed that his mother is constantly asking him if he has found a new job, to which he responds that Jalang’o has taken all of them. Kisangani even went as far as to imitate Jalang’o in his interviews and promote a product that he was advertising.

While the audience found Kisangani’s comments to be funny, they may also reflect the ongoing tension between established artists and those new to the industry.
